About the Role

This is a fixed-term opportunity for Terms 3 and 4, 2026, ideal for a capable and motivated Year 7/8 teacher who enjoys working with intermediate-aged learners.

The successful candidate will bring confidence, initiative, and solid curriculum knowledge, particularly in literacy and/or mathematics, and will thrive in a collaborative setting.

Requirements

To be considered, applicants should have:

• A Level 7 teaching qualification (or NZQA-recognised equivalent)
• Experience teaching in a senior primary, intermediate, or junior secondary setting
• Current NZ teacher registration (or evidence of application in progress)
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (immigration support may be available)
• Strong curriculum knowledge, especially in literacy and/or mathematics
• Availability to work for the full fixed-term period (Term 3–Term 4, 2026)
