Prospero Teaching is working alongside a well-established early childhood centre in South Auckland that is looking to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic ECE Teacher into their team. This opportunity is open to both experienced educators and those who are newly qualified and ready to begin their teaching journey.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will play a key part in nurturing young learners by delivering meaningful and engaging early childhood experiences. You’ll contribute to creating a warm, inclusive environment where tamariki feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Planning and facilitating learning experiences that support children’s development
- Creating a welcoming and culturally responsive environment
- Building strong, respectful connections with children, whānau, and colleagues
- Monitoring and recording learning progress in line with curriculum expectations
- Working closely with a team to maintain high standards of care and education
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, commitment, and a genuine love for working with young children. You will also have:
- A recognised Early Childhood Education qualification
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn (if newly qualified)
- Confidence in building relationships with a range of people
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
- A collaborative mindset and team-focused approach
