Prospero Teaching is seeking casual relief teachers to work across a range of primary, secondary, and special character schools throughout Wellington. We partner with client schools to provide both day-to-day and short-term relief cover, offering opportunities to work with diverse learners in a variety of educational settings.
Your role: As a casual reliever, in this role, you will support students across a variety of spectrums and programs. Your responsibilities will include supporting students with academic learning needs, behavioural challenges, physical and social barriers, and other special educational requirements.

What we are looking for:
Someone who is warm, personable and passionate about support students with diverse learning needs
Flexibility & adaptable
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students, whānau, and colleagues
Someone with experience working with students with diverse needs across ages 6 years of age +
Expertise in supporting students individualised education plans (IEPs) as you support the unique needs of each student
Able to support the permanent teaching team in creating a nurturing learning environment
To be successful, we are looking for teachers with:
A Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications
Must have experience in special education
Current NZ Teachers Registration
NZ working rights required
