Our client school is looking to appoint an outstanding individual to work in their Science Faculty from the beginning of Term One (January 28) 2027. This position is likely to include a combination of junior and senior Science classes. Please state subject specialism. We are seeking an inspiring, collaborative student-focused teacher who is culturally responsive and relational.
This co-educational secondary school has a roll of approximately 1200 students. About thirty percent of ther students identify as Māori, and we have strong connections with our local iwi. The successful candidate will be making a commitment to learn or continue learning about in this area. It is important to understand the stories, land, and the people of our mana whenua.
The successful candidate will be someone who can build positive, learning focused relationships and enjoys working collaboratively in teams.
Co-curricular and/or extra-curricular involvement in the wider life of the school is encouraged and an advantage.
