Primary Teacher – South Canterbury | One-year fixed term | Term 1, 2027
Prospero Teaching is supporting a welcoming South Canterbury primary school that is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join its team for the 2027 school year.
This is a full-time, one-year fixed-term position within a supportive school where strong relationships, collaboration and genuinely caring about each child are at the centre of everything they do.
The successful teacher will:
Hold current New Zealand teacher registration, or be eligible to obtain it
Build positive relationships with students, whānau and colleagues
Create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom
Have sound classroom and behaviour-management skills
Work collaboratively and contribute positively to the wider school community
