Able to deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons aligned with NCEA standards
Building strong rapport with students to fostering meaningful connections that support students’ holistic growth
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum delivery
Skilled in tailoring teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
Is able to provide opportunities for students to develop strong problem-solving skills
Works collaboratively with colleagues and wider teaching team
Is committed to positive behaviour for learning, restorative practices, and culturally responsive teaching, ensuring every ākonga is seen and valued
To be successful, we are looking for teachers with
A Level 7 teaching qualification in Secondary (or NZQA-approved equivalent)
Have experience in a secondary classroom (teaching junior and senior level PE)
Current NZ Teacher Registration (or in the process of obtaining it)
Availability to start Term Three 2026
