About the Role
As Head of Science Faculty, you will:
Lead and inspire a high-performing Science department across Years 7–13.
Drive excellence in curriculum design, teaching practice and assessment.
Mentor, coach and support teaching staff to continually improve student outcomes.
Foster a collaborative and positive faculty culture built on high expectations and shared success.
Contribute to the wider leadership of the school and champion innovative educational practices.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Be an experienced secondary Science teacher with proven leadership capability or readiness for faculty leadership.
Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
Be passionate about improving student achievement through evidence-based practice.
Lead with integrity, empathy and a collaborative approach.
Have a commitment to restorative and trauma-informed practices that support positive outcomes for every learner.
