English teacher Term 1 start
This mid-sized coeducational secondary school in South Auckland is looking for a strong English teacher for a position to start in Term 1 (27 January) 2027.
Ideally the successful candidate will be a strong classroom teacher with experience teaching both junior and senior levels. Specific literacy development skills would be desirable in the school context as learners undertake a full literacy programme in the junior school. With a growing number of immigrants from Asian countries, experience with ESOL learners and language acquisition would be welcomed.
The school is grounded in their whakapapa and values, and they empower students to grow with purpose and develop a love of learning. As a teacher in the school you will need to be relational, and be able to build relationships with students, their whanau and the community.
