Are you a passionate English teacher looking for an opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative secondary school environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a well-established and highly resourced English department. This is a maternity cover position commencing in Term 3, with the appointment running through until February 2027. The successful applicant will teach a mix of junior and senior English classes and will take responsibility for a senior House Class (Years 12–13). There is also the potential for additional management responsibilities and department oversight for the right candidate. What we are looking for:
NZ registered teacher (or eligible for registration)
Strong curriculum knowledge and a passion for English education
Ability to engage and inspire learners across a range of year levels
Commitment to contributing positively to a collaborative teaching team
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
