Prospero Teaching are working with clients for after school care across Wellington to provide relief teachers.
Your role: As a casual reliever with Prospero Teaching, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of year levels, from new entrants through to Year 8 intermediate students.
Role: Casual After school Care Teacher (Primary Education) Location: Wellington (Whitby/ Porirua/ Khandallah)
What our client is looking for:
Someone available between 2:30pm-6pm (within Monday-Friday)
Demonstrated knowledge of culturally responsive teaching practices
Curriculum knowledge and ability to deliver this to a variety of age groups
Maintain the wellbeing of students and actively engage students in learning opportunities that build their social, physical and academic skills
Commitment to creating learning environments where all students feel valued, supported, and able to participate fully
Confidence in using positive behaviour strategies and restorative approaches to support student wellbeing, resolve conflicts, and build positive classroom culture
