Deliver differentiated teaching that supports a range of academic and cultural learning needs
Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the New Zealand Curriculum
Use assessment-for-learning practices to help students take ownership of their progress
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and whānau
Create an inclusive classroom environment that empowers student voice and agency
Collaborate effectively within a job-share and wider teaching team
Applicant Requirements
Hold a recognised teaching qualification (Level 7 or above), assessed by NZQA
Have classroom teaching experience, preferably at intermediate level
Hold a current NZ Teaching Council practising certificate (or have an application in progress)
Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge, especially in literacy and numeracy
Have knowledge of, or a passion for, structured literacy and play-based learning approaches
Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to inclusive, culturally responsive teaching
