The Role
As a Year 7–8 Homeroom Teacher, you will:
Lead a homeroom class (ages 11–12) as form tutor.
Teach a blend of core subjects (literacy, numeracy, science, and social sciences) using shared curriculum booklets.
Deliver high-quality, explicit instruction with clear success criteria, regular checks for understanding, and structured practice.
Contribute to the development of the school’s knowledge-rich curriculum and teaching resources.
Work closely with families and the pastoral team to support attendance, conduct, and student progress.
Have the option to be involved in STEAM projects and Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) activities, including camps.
