What Our Client is Looking For
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Year 4-6 teacher who is confident working within an Innovative Learning Environment (ILE). The successful candidate will enjoy collaborating with colleagues, communicating effectively, and contributing positively to a team-teaching setting.
You will bring experience in the New Zealand Curriculum, a strong understanding of learning through play, and a commitment to student agency and creative, future-focused teaching. The role involves supporting a diverse group of learners, including neurodiverse students, so flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to adapt your practice are essential.
Values and Qualities We Look For
We are looking for a kaiako who:
• A Level 7 teaching qualification in Primary (or NZQA-approved equivalent)
• Experience in a primary and/or intermediate school setting
• Current NZ Teacher Registration
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
• Availability to start Term Two 2026
