Social Studies Teacher – Fixed Term (1 Year) Commencing Term 1, 2

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher specialising in Geography, History, Psychology, or Social Studies to join a well-established and high-performing Humanities Department. Applicants should clearly state their specialist subject area when applying.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
Current New Zealand teacher registration, or the ability to obtain this (registration underway or approved).
Eligibility to live and work in New Zealand, either through existing work rights or the ability to secure a visa (e.g. Accredited Employer Work Visa – AEWV or Straight to Residence pathway).
A strong background in Geography, History, Psychology, or Social Studies, with the ability to teach up to NCEA Level 3.
A genuine commitment to supporting the school’s academic priorities and contributing to its wider community.
Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and a collaborative, student-focused teaching style.
