We are working in close partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in the South Island, seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join their team from Term 2.

Importantly, the school holds Accredited Employer status, meaning they are able to support overseas-based teachers with visa requirements and relocation.
While the preference is for a Term 2 start, the school is open to waiting for the right candidate.
Interviews can also be arranged over the school holidays to accommodate availability.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across the secondary year levels (Year 9–13)
Plan, prepare and assess student learning in line with the New Zealand curriculum
Foster a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
Support students of varying abilities, including extension and intervention
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values
Requirements
Qualified Secondary Teacher with a specialism in Mathematics
Eligibility for New Zealand teacher registration (or currently registered)
Ability to meet visa requirements (if applicable)
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
Commitment to student engagement and achievement
