We are working with a small primary school of around 300 students, located in South Taranaki, who are looking for a special teacher to join them Term 1 2026.
The team is very supportive and collaborative, and pride themselves on being a tight-knit staff who love to have a good laugh, share ideas and work together. You’ll be joining a school where relationships and student well-being come first, and where teachers are encouraged to grow through high-quality professional development and coaching. They also love to bring learning alive through school events and rich EOTC opportunities that take us beyond the classroom and into our wider community.
In this role relationships are important; with students, whanau/family and with your colleagues. They are looking for someone who will create a classroom environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The year level is to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants need to have a strong knowledge of structured learning approaches, the science of learning, and be willing to learn te reo Māori.
So if you’re ready to join a school that feels like family and make a difference in the lives of our gorgeous tamariki, we’d love to hear from you!
