Your role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher to take on a leadership position within a Year 5–6 team. In this role, you will guide and support a team of teachers while helping to strengthen high-quality classroom practice. You will play a key part in promoting effective teaching strategies, including the use of digital tools, and embedding assessment practices that support ongoing student progress. You will also contribute to developing learners who are adaptable, confident, and prepared for the future.

To be successful, we are looking for teachers with:

• A Level 7 Education Qualification in Primary/Secondary and/or NZQA-approved qualifications
• Must have experience in a primary, intermediate or secondary classroom
• Current NZ Teachers Registration (or in process)

Salary & Benefits:

• Remuneration based on the Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (PTCA)
• Salary range: $65,685 – $105,663, depending on experience and qualifications
• Additional Management Units available ($5,100 per unit from April 2026)
