Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher Type: Permanent full time Location: Auckland Start: Term three or Four 2025 (flexible for the right candidate)
Responsibilities:
Planning and execution of mathematics for students across junior and senior level (14–18-year-olds)
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum delivery
Prepare students for examinations and university entrance
Participate and co-ordinate parent-teacher conferences and providing positive constructive feedback to support the development of students
Build positive relationships with teachers, students and families
Provide opportunities for students to develop strong problem-solving skills

What is required to be successful:
Hold an eligible teaching qualification assessed by NZQA (level 7 or above in secondary)

Hold a NZ Practicing Certificate (Have submitted or in progress)
