The Role
We are seeking a Mathematics teacher able to teach to the highest levels, ideally through to NCEA Level 3 in Calculus and/or Statistics. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, encourage intellectual curiosity, and guide students in developing essential mathematical skills that have real-world applications.
Department Overview
Mathematics at this school is about exploring and applying patterns, relationships, and logical thinking to understand and interpret the world.
Junior Mathematics (Years 9–10): Building a strong foundation through creative problem-solving, statistical analysis, competitions, and use of interactive resources such as Education Perfect and enrich.
Senior Mathematics: Offering a full range of courses from Level 1 through Level 3 in both Calculus and Statistics, preparing students for tertiary study and career pathways in science, technology, engineering, and beyond.
