The successful candidate will:
Lead a dynamic English Department that encourages creativity, literacy development, and critical thinking.
Inspire a culture of collaboration, innovation, and student success.
Support teachers in curriculum design, assessment planning, and professional growth.
Model excellence in teaching, with a focus on building confident and capable learners.
For the right candidate, this role can be combined with another leadership responsibility, such as Head of Languages and/or Literacy Leader, offering an excellent opportunity for career progression.

Additional Information
Start Date: Term 1 2026
Accredited Employer: The school is accredited and able to support overseas-trained teachers through the Accredited Employer Work Visa pathway.
Relocation Support: Eligible international teachers may qualify for the Overseas Relocation Grant (ORG) of up to NZD $10,000 from the New Zealand Government.
Remuneration: Aligned with the New Zealand Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA) and includes Management Units (MUs) commensurate with responsibility.
