You will be responsible for leading curriculum development, assessment practices, and the continued academic success of students in mathematics across all year levels.
You will be first and foremost a high quality teacher who is passionate about working with this age group; focused on student engagement, positive relationships, achievement and excellence.
The ability to teach senior mathematics is essential.
The School
This co-educational school caters for students Year 7-13 over two campuses. They provide quality teaching and leadership that makes a difference for all learners and their whanau. The environment is learner centred, providing great education opportunities and outcomes that are within reach of every learner.
There is a school house available on request (subsidised housing).
The fine print
This is a permanent, full-time position with a Salary Unit and Middle Management (HOD) allowance. Additional units or responsibilities may be available depending on experience and school needs.
You must hold New Zealand Teaching Registration and a current practising certificate and be able to provide details for two referees who have managed you.
The school is an accredited employer and we are able to consider applications from overseas teachers with the skills and experience outlined above.
The role is eligible for the straight to residence pathway and the overseas relocation grant (up to 30 June 2025 currently, although this may be extended).
