The Assistant Campus Principal (Deputy Principal) has whole-school responsibility for coordination of Pathways and Senior Years, Coordination of Homeroom and Year group performance as well as line management of selected staff.
You will assist the Principal in school management, quality assurance, staff support, and promoting a positive school culture.
This modernised campus with brand new facilities is located in KeriKeri in the Bay of Islands, and caters to 85 students in Year 3-13. This Independent school is part of a national group with campuses across New Zealand.
Key responsibilities:
Assist the Principal in school leadership and management.
NCEA Coordination
Foster a positive, inclusive school culture focused on wellbeing.
Lead in student discipline, academic achievement, and extracurricular activities.
Mentor and support teaching staff to enhance professional development.
Contribute to strategic planning and continuous school improvement.
Key requirements:
Can be primary or secondary trained
Proven teaching and leadership experience in a school environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of the NCEA curriculum is essential so NZ experience is required, although Australian experience may be considered
Ability to motivate and inspire staff and students.
NZ Teacher Registration and relevant qualifications.
